Corn Maize Ride

Just checking to see if anyone is interested in doing a fat tire ride to the Corn Maize in Denton? It would have to be a Friday, Saturday or Sunday as the maze is only open those days. Check out the the link http://www.cornfieldmaze.com/sites.php?ID=&username=nedenton to see what all the Maize offers. The maze closes for harvesting Oct 31 so we'll have to do it soon. Also there are a few miles of gravel so mountain bikes may be better than road bikes, but it's your choice. Let me know if you are interested and I'll make it happen!

Are you allowed to ride your bikes thru the maze?

I'll check if you can ride your bike through the maze, but my guess no. It does cost $8 to get in but if we get a group of 15 it's only $5 per person.

When/Where? Perhaps meet at Pioneers Sat AM in lieu of the LBC ride? Perhaps at a less early hour? (If I'm missing a pre-described time/place described above, sorry and ignore me).

I heard something about this being the largest corn maize in the nation.

sunday is good for me, but I was really thinking this should be a glow stick ride in the dark (lights optional for LT who seems to have no sense of adventure!). Perhaps Fri Oct 13 would be good? Take Yankee Hill out instead of denton road so it's safer after dark (mountain or cross bikes a plus). Start around 6pm be back by 11 or so?

What about making this a halloween ride? Dress up in crazy costumes and riding out there?
