My first taste of road racing:
Saturday morning, an 18 mile TT and
Saturday afternoon, a 32 mile race
The TT was a big challenge for me. The 18 miles took me just under one hour and it took some rest and thinking to start in the race...
I was able to stay with the pack for about 15 minutes. After that, it was just road, lot's of hills, wind, pain and me:

We didn't stay in Norfolk that night and I didn't feel up for the drive back out there nor for the crit on Sunday morning...but there will be a next time:)

congrats on getting out there. it was probably a little disconcerting to have Morgan lining up behind you ... well done, toughing it out.
Thanks guys! It was tough. My legs are still feeling it but I learnt a lot and I think I want to do it again:)
