I've heard rumors that there's a bar that might sponsor teamfire.
I also heard most of teamfire almost became teamroadkill yesterday.
Any truth to these reports?
teamRoadKill - Yes - as we were approaching Roca, as always we try and sprint for the tracks. I broke away with Aaron on my wheel...we were hitting a good 23-25mph when all of a sudden there is this pickup trying to run us off the road and then slamming the brakes as if he was trying to make us crash against the back side of his truck. Aaron and I came within inches of hitting him. We got the plate # before he could peel off. As we were heading toward the tracks we saw that the train was going by so we chase after this idiot. As soon as we get there we vent and tell him we are calling the sheriff, his response: "I hope you do!" So Aaron tries to cross the tracks and move out of his way and again the idiot tries to run him off the road. At this point there are about 40 witnesses. So we stop at the local bar and phone the police dept. This gets better. We get on our way and start up the hill and we hear someone say "theres the truck". WOW - he was late for church!!! So I forgave him right then and there.
I bet it never occurred to him that assaulting people on his way to church is a bit ironic.
I am glad you stopped to call the police.
that's like the guy who cut me off on the way to work the other day ... with a big school of jesus fish on the back of his minivan. Nice. What would Jesus do? He'd cut you off at 60 mph.
jeezuz! i'm glad u guys are OK. I'd follow up with the sheriff. I believe that qualifies as attempted vehicular homicide.
