teamFIRE Wednesday Ride
Don't forget that the teamFIRE signature "No Rider Left Behind" ride will begin in just a few weeks. Early spring ride starts Wednesdays at 5:30pm from the S.27th & Hwy2 north bench. This is a great group ride for all starters wanting to get some miles in with other beginner riders as a group. This is a NO Rider Left behind ride so no need to worry about coming back alone...one of the teamFIRE riders will be there to help you get back to town. This is a non-racer pace.
If you are looking for a bit faster pace join us Tuesday nights at 5:30pm, same location for a faster pace ride (starting in a few weeks also). More details to come.

Who the hell is that guy?
some dude from Peru, Nebraska.
I may have to test you out on the "no rider left behind" and see if you realllly mean it. :-) What route do you take? All big shoulders?
I'll be your personal guide.
kimberley, are you riding with us? :)
I may give it a try. It will be a white knuckle ride for me--terrified of riding on the road. And then there's my little old mountain bike. Almost vintage by now. ;-)
oh it's not scary, you'll be fine. you don't have a road bike???? well i think it's time to cut off funding of the lesser half and allocate the cycling budget in the family to yourself (sorry adrian!:)). most all of the shops in town have great deals on their '07 bikes right now, so go out and do some shopping!
if anything at this point I will get the hand-me-downs and let him upgrade. I can't justify buying a bike until I decide whether road riding is for me.
Kimberly~ hope to see you on the road sometime. :) It'd also be fun to go through Wilderness Park with you when it dries out. Your mountain bike would be perfect for in there.
that sounds like fun. I haven't been through wilderness for years. The last time I rode through there it was mid-august and the ragweed looked like something out of a sci-fi movie.
I don't ever talk on group rides, Megan. ;)
Sounds good. Nicol, that sounds just like you--sooooo shy. ;-)
Daylights savings has started. You gonna start this ride this Weds?
Yes we are!
